- regret的基本意思是“懊悔,惋惜,遺憾”,指對于已經發(fā)生或不愿發(fā)生但又不得不發(fā)生的事情在心里產生一種傷感或抱歉,但已經沒有挽回的余地。引申還可指“抱歉”。
- regret既可用作不及物動詞,也可用作及物動詞。用作及物動詞時,后接名詞、代詞、動名詞或that/wh-從句作賓語??捎糜诒粍咏Y構。
